These are cheap plastic nets that are fine for kids catching minnows, bugs etc.I would suggest using superglue to glue the nets to the handle before using because the nets come off easily and sink to the bottom of the lake quickly.We use them at the beach/lake. Kids love catching stuff with them. The netting itself is decent, but the overall the whole thing isn't flimsy, but it certainly isn't sturdy. I'd say it's likely to last a season or two.My kids have used these several times to catch little goldfish in a stock tank and none of them have broken, fallen apart, or have been damaged.They were easy to put together, there was a little nail that had to be pushed in, and that was it after the two ends were put together. They even float when they drop them in the water, which has come in handy, several times.The quality was poor.The net Broke after the first time use. If won’t last longer ,not worth for the money
